The 5030-HD Martindale Abrasion Tester is primarily used for resistance testing of textiles, outer layers, linings, or under layers of footwear and similar fabrics. Tests can be conducted as dry or wet tests according to standards. Samples are tested Lissajous-oriented for regulated times, after which the difference between tested and original samples is observed to determine the grade of scrubbing resistance.
